Philips Technical Service Education is responsible for preparing field service staff, as well as in-hospital biomedical staff, with the competencies required to service our medical device hardware and software.  Service education is fundamental to minimizing service costs, ensuring full system functionality, and maximizing system uptime, which results in improved patient outcomes, enhanced patient and staff experience, and productivity gains for our customers. Our team believes in harnessing the power of accurate, insightful data to drive informed decisions. For this, we are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team.

In this role, you could

• Turn data from multiple sources into information and insights that support our discussions and decisions.
• Work in a fast-paced dynamic global environment facing technical, business and healthcare challenges
• Contribute to the learning strategy of Philips Technical Service Education Programs through data insights.

You are responsible for

As Service Technical Education Data Analyst, you are responsible for:

• Analyze large datasets using SQL.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in PowerBI.
• Automate merging data from disparate systems.
• Perform detailed data cleaning and pre-processing using Excel and SQL.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand and meet their data needs.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
• Track and report of education quality key performance indicators (KPI), including but not limited to: eLearning, Instructor led learning, virtual learning, etc., plus any future quality markers.

You are a part of

The Services Center of Excellence, Service Technical Education Standards team.  This position, located in Best, the Netherlands, reports directly to the Director of Service Technical Education Standards.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Strong skills in PowerBI for creating interactive reports and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of SQL for querying and managing databases.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint for data sharing and organization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on lean thinking
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Consultancy experience in commercial and regulated business environments
•  Ability to effectively collaborate across levels, departments, and organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent in English, second language is beneficial).
• Organized, structured, and self-motivated with demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a timely fashion with minimum instruction and supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field preferred, or experience in a similar role.
• 5-7 years of work experience, preferably in an international, technical, and/or medical organization.
• Awareness and sensitivity to global support needs requiring the need to swiftly act and respond accordingly.
• Commitment toward professional growth and development.
