About our Internship Program

As a ThredUp summer intern, you will be given a firsthand glimpse at what it’s like to work at the world’s largest fashion resale platform. During the 10 week program, you will tackle projects alongside our world-class team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on ThredUp’s business.

About the Internship

We’re seeking a talented Summer AI & Automation Intern, who is pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree, to join our dynamic Fintech team at ThredUp. This role is ideal for someone passionate about AI and automation, with strong Python coding skills and a knack for data analytics. As an intern, you will leverage cutting-edge AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to automate workflows and have the opportunity to take part in building our customer service AI assistant.. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven automation solutions into existing systems, optimize operational processes, and drive business efficiency. In addition to building and fine-tuning ML models and NLP algorithms, you will analyze data to improve model performance and contribute innovative ideas to enhance customer interactions. This role offers hands-on experience with AI-driven workflow automation, conversational AI, and machine learning, while empowering you to solve complex business challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. If you’re passionate about leveraging AI to optimize operations and enhance customer experiences, this internship will offer impactful projects, mentorship, and growth opportunities. This is a 10 week internship from 6/9/2025 - 8/14/2025.

This is an hourly role and pays $35 per hour based on currently enrolled academic program or completed level of education.
