Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Member of Technical Staff

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

           

DUTIES: Member of Technical Staff needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to contribute to the research, development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, including creating Proof Of Concept (POC) for future-looking products and services. Work with Artificial intelligence(AI), Large Language Model (LLM), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Virtualization, GPU optimization, and other emerging technologies. Evaluate new AI technologies, tools and open-source software for potential benefits, drawbacks and applicability to current and future projects, including Mixture of Experts (MoE) models, Audio models, Speech to Text (STT)models, Text to speech (TTS) models and drawing models. Work on code development for open-source software customization and integration to build AI pipelines based on project needs using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Python. Understand industry open-source code evaluation processes and metrics. Work on platforms include Hugging Face and GitHub. Develop and integrate testing automation software for test script, test cycle management, test reporting, and test automation pipeline to support certification for enterprise customer services, including universal Customer Premises equipment (uCPE), SDWAN, and VNF. Work with systems including JIRA and lifecycle management tool Ansible. Work with development tools include JavaScript, VueJS, GoJS and backend technology includes networking, and virtualization technology including VMware, KVM, containers, hypervisors, and virtual machines. Develop and integrate AI solutions for specific network use cases, including NetDB, AI fine-tuning for network design and network management covering various networks of CBB, AGN, and OpenNet, using LLM fine-tuning, few-shot learning technologies. Develop and integrate AI solutions for network configuration with the understanding of device configuration using CLI and XML for devices from various vendors including Juniper, Cisco, DriveNets, and Ciena. Participate in lab building and lab management. Work on data network technologies and large-scale deployments across multiple vendors including Cisco, Juniper, IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack, internet routing protocols of QoS techniques and Layer2/Layer3 VPN technologies. Understand of SD-WAN solutions and various VPN technologies including Layer2, Layer3, and encryption tunnels. Work on X86 server hardware deployments across multiple vendors, and virtual environment deployments including VMware, KVM, containers, hypervisors, and virtual machines. Work with programming languages including Java, JavaScript, Python, and C for software application development. Work on network monitoring and analysis, including SNMP, XML, and vendor proprietary measures, including advanced troubleshooting analysis, traces and packet-capturing tools. Work on test platforms and automation tools including Spirent, Agile, IXIA, and  Netscout. Develop comprehensive AI-based pipelines and integration of AI technologies into various scenarios including Metaverse.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Communications Engineering or Engineering and 2 Years of experience in the job offered, or 2 Years of experience in a related occupation working on data network technologies and large-scale deployments across multiple vendors including Cisco, Juniper, IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack, internet routing protocols of QoS techniques and Layer2/Layer3 VPN technologies; understanding of SD-WAN solutions and various VPN technologies including Layer2, Layer3, and encryption tunnels; working on X86 server hardware deployments across multiple vendors, and virtual environment deployments including VMware, KVM, containers, hypervisors, and virtual machines; working with programming languages including Java, JavaScript, Python, and C for software application development; working on network monitoring and analysis, including SNMP, XML, and vendor proprietary measures, including advanced troubleshooting analysis, traces and packet-capturing tools; working on test platforms and automation tools including Spirent, Agile, IXIA, and  Netscout; developing comprehensive AI-based pipelines and integration of AI technologies into various scenarios including Metaverse.

Our Member of Technical Staff s earn between $170,000 - $196,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
