Job Description

Job Summary: The BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. This role involves creating and managing BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data and business analysis, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications. Additionally, the candidate will leverage generative AI technologies to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain BI tools and systems, including but not limited to Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting tools.
• Design, build, and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools, dashboards, data models).
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Implement and utilize generative AI technologies to enhance data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Associate: Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate: 1.0 - 1.5 years of work experience

Required Skills and Technologies:
Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and Hadoop.
• Experience with data modeling, database design, and data mining.
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and experience with statistical packages.
• Experience with generative AI technologies and their application in BI development.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ability to leverage generative AI to identify patterns, trends, and insights from complex datasets.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

•Additional Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Ability to create user guides and training materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to address questions confidently.
