As a Graduate Data Specialist, you will support supply chain transformation initiatives by contributing to data discovery, quality improvement, and governance activities. Data Discovery and Analysis:
Assist in data discovery efforts to map out the current data landscape and identify key data sources.
Collaborate with team members to gather and understand business requirements.
Provide support in documenting business processes related to critical data elements.
Requirements Detailing and Support:
Assist in translating business requirements into user stories and data specifications.
Work with senior team members to validate solutions and ensure they align with business needs.
Quality Measurement and Data Integrity:
Help establish data quality metrics and participate in monitoring efforts.
Support senior team members in resolving data quality issues and maintaining data integrity.
Contribute to the implementation of data governance best practices.
Data Issue Resolution:
Provide support in analyzing and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
Document issue resolution processes and assist in process improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work alongside senior team members in cross-functional projects involving procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
Participate in workshops and meetings to learn best practices in aligning data strategies.
Required & Preferred Experience
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, or a related field.
Basic proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Understanding of data management principles and database concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Preferred:
Experience with ERP systems
Familiarity with programming languages for data analysis.
