WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN NIKE DIRECT FORECASTING SPECIALIST, with an innovative mindset who can drive operational excellence by creating a highly reliable, timely and standardized Supply Chain forecast that reflects commercial and financial decisions into actionable operational plans, that enables Nike outstanding deliver and service to consumers.

You are passionate about creating innovative forecasting solutions that utilizing consumer trends, leverage operational knowledge and apply your analytical and critical thinking skills to elevate Nike supply chain service while optimizing cost.

You can easily understand Omnichannel Retail flow and seasonal trends with the ability to simplify complex information and communicate effectively with leaders and stakeholders across Nike Direct Business. Thriving in a fast- paced dynamic environment, you will embrace some degree of ambiguity and bring clarity and insight that fuel Nike’s growth and elevate the consumer experience.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Develop and execute, in collaboration with Planning and Finance teams, a dynamic retail (Nike Digital or Nike Stores) supply chain forecasting at various levels of granularity (by PE, country, VAS) based on consumer demand and business performance insights to inform supply chain DC/ Network capacity, shipping plans and end of the month landing estimates.

  • Lead and execute Nike Stores or Nike Digital forecasts, including monthly, quarterly and annual shipping forecasts and track daily shipping performance to develop landing estimates that inform supply chain plans and financial processes.

  • Lead scenario planning and preparation for execution of Key Retail Moment and ad hoc business requirements by generating insights through data exploration/analysis.

  • Contribute to advanced analytics and optimization initiatives by designing and developing support tools to improve forecasting capabilities.

  • Bring an improvement and innovative mindset to lead medium-to-large scale improvement projects by applying project management tools and skills to define and follow-up on actions.

  • Act as a change agent for transformational initiatives through hands-on contribution, providing quantitative and qualitative feedback to enable continuous improvement.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work in a cross-functional agile environment that spans across EMEA, supporting the Nike Direct Stores or Digital Marketplace Supply Chain needs. You will partner closely with Planning, Finance, Sales, Merchandising and Stores Operation teams. Additionally, you will connect daily with our Nike Direct Stores or Digital Supply Chain teams, as well as with Distribution Planning, Transportation and Nike’s logistical functions. To deliver the data & analytics aspect of this role, you will be part of a Supply Chain analytics community collaborating with Nike Direct Supply Chain Business Analysts, Capability Building and Nike Technology teams.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Relevant, confirmed and proven experience in Forecasting and/or direct to consumer planning functions. Showcasing consistent improvement, increased responsibility and scope over time with a consumer-centric and innovative approach

  • Strong understanding of commercial actions and consumer trends with the ability to identify, flag and track risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable operational plans.

  • Excellent analytical skills that support a results-driven approach delivering operational excellence.

  • Proven experience with analytical tools (Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Excel, and/or similar tools).

  • Understanding and knowledge of Advanced Analytics methods is a plus (Python, ML, Optimalization, Operations Research).

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate and influence various levels within a matrix structure. Ability to drive clarity to audiences unfamiliar with the subject matter.

  • Ability to develop, track/obsess meaningful forecasting KPIs to continuously improve capacity planning and revenue recognition

  • Innovative mindset and proven track record of leading and delivering process improvement.

  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills to build excellent working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders driving best-in-class customer service.

  • Experience leading and being accountable for medium to large sized cross-functional projects from start to finish, fostering collaboration and bringing the right teams together to achieve operational excellence.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently both independently and in team environments.
