Job Description
What you'll do:
- Partner with Viewing Product teams to understand strategic roadmaps and how metrics will influence their decisions
- Drive adoption of Databricks for self-serve analysis, enabling stakeholders to independently access and analyze key metrics.
- Democratize data access by developing tables and data sets to support efficient self-service exploration and analysis
- Work within large datasets to interpret trends and turn those into actionable recommendations
- Work with data engineering and analytic/data science partners to create opinionated datasets to unlock business insights.
- Build and distribute actionable dashboards or reports. Work with stakeholders to ensure informed decisions follow from these sources
- Gather cross-functional use cases for data access. Partner with Data Engineering teams to identify and enhance data sources
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience working in a data-oriented role
- BA/BS or MS degree in a quantitative area of study (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science) or relevant work experience
- Proficient in SQL and BigData (Databricks Experience a plus)
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, Domo or equivalent data visualization tools
- Experience working with large datasets
- Knowledge of A/B and multivariate tools, as well as statistical models
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, work ethic, sense of curiosity, accountability, and ability to execute projects of all sizes with vision & purpose
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, collaborate and influence
- Ability to deliver on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Self-driven, confident, resourceful, and resilient
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in media industry or product
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $115,000 - $145,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
