AI Connector Engineer - Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is required to be in office 5 days a week.

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to integrating the Domo analytics platform with external Machine Learning (ML) models and Large Language Models (LLMs). This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering, AI, and business intelligence, helping enhance our analytics capabilities with AI-driven insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement APIs to connect Domo with external ML models and LLMs.
• Work with data pipelines, ensuring seamless data transfer between Domo and AI-driven services.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize model performance and integration.
• Assist in automating workflows for real-time data processing and analysis.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance, ensuring scalable and efficient integration.
• Document technical processes, ensuring maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Software development experience (internship experience ok) and coursework in development areas such as algorithms, databases, and distributed systems;
• Help with the design and development of Domo’s data analysis platform;
• Work with other engineering teams to optimize the usage and efficiency of Domo’s data analysis platform;
• Help develop methods and tools to monitor the performance and reliability of Domo’s data analysis platform.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Software development experience (internship experience ok) and coursework in web technologies such as HTML/CSS, Java, JavaScript, and Python;
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies;
• Ability to communicate and interface with technical and non-technical members of the organization;
• Capable of learning and understanding complex concepts quickly;
• Working on a College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
