ABOUT US: NewMarket Corporation, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is the parent company of Afton Chemical Corporation (Afton), Ethyl Corporation (Ethyl), and American Pacific Corporation (AMPAC).  The Afton and Ethyl companies develop, manufacture, blend, and deliver chemical additives that enhance the performance of petroleum products.  Afton is a leading manufacturer and marketer of performance enhancing fuel and lubricant additives with operations around the world.  AMPAC, with operations in the U.S., is a manufacturer of specialty materials primarily used in solid rocket motors for the aerospace and defense industries. 

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for management of complex master data categories to ensure the effective use in SAP and cross functional systems utilizing the master data. Responsible for creation and review of master data processes globally. Lead master data regional projects and act as SME for master data related projects (e.g. acquisitions).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated understanding of supply chain typically acquired through a several years of experience in a similar role.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Understanding of master data set up and proficiency in SAP
