Data Management Engineer

To drive towards this ambition, we are looking for a Data Management Engineer to be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical business data across Aztec. This role involves managing data governance, data quality, and data integration processes to support business operations and strategic decision-making. The MDM Specialist collaborates with various departments, including IT, finance, tax. operations, Reg Reporting and Client Facing Teams, to maintain high-quality master data across systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Design Aztec’s target architecture for Master Data (Clients, Admin Entities, investors et al) in line with the business needs, existing architectural framework, technologies and governance
• Act as liaison between business and IT teams to ensure data requirements align to strategic goals.
• Builds relationships with senior stakeholders across Aztec to communicate solution benefits and build demand.
• Develop technical solution for data entry, approval and maintenance and for different data types
• Configure front-end system for high-quality data entry (chck boxes, dropdowns, picklists)
• Develop Pipelines and data integrations from ADP to core systems
• Manage development through Aztec Environments
• Support the integration of master data across various enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Workday and eFront.
• Work with IT teams to ensure seamless data synchronization and workflow automation
• Assist in data migration and transformation projects when implementing new systems
• Train and support end-users in best practices for managing and utilizing master data
• Implement data privacy and security best practices to protect sensitive information
• Maintain Aztec’s Client list in Profisee
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates, and inaccuracies across core systems
• Monitor and improve data quality using profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques
• Implement System Upgrades on Master data toolsets (Profisee, Databricks)
• Share technical knowledge and experience with team members across Data Programme and IT

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Fund Administration business and supporting toolsets to manage funds
• Understanding of data management principles such as data quality management
• Awareness of Master Data Management tools (Profisee)
• Strong understanding of database management, data modeling, and SQL
• Knowledge of ERP (SAP, Oracle), CRM (Salesforce), and BI tools
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally
