Product Manager/ AI Designer

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI Developer to join our team. The AI Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing AI applications, understanding user requirements, and utilizing AI to solve business problems. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python, Java, or other AI-focused programming languages, and have a solid understanding of machine learning, neural networks, and natural language processing. Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy:
• Ability to define a clear product vision and roadmap for generative AI-based products.
• Aligning the generative AI product with broader company goals, customer needs, and market trends.


• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Strong collaboration skills to work with diverse teams (engineering, data science, design, marketing, etc.) to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
• Acting as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is on the same page.


• Customer-Centric Mindset:
• Understanding customer needs and pain points to ensure the generative AI product
• provides real value to teachers, school administrators & teachers.
• Ability to gather user feedback, conduct interviews, and analyse user behaviour to refine AI features based on real-world needs.


• Communication & Stakeholder Management:
• Ability to clearly communicate complex AI concepts to stakeholders with non-technical backgrounds.
• Writing product briefs, preparing presentations, and articulating the value proposition of generative AI products to business leaders.


• Project Management:
• Managing timelines, milestones, and deliverables for product launches, ensuring that generative AI features are shipped on time.
• Organising resources and coordinating tasks across teams to ensure smooth product development.


• Ethics & Responsible AI:
• Understanding the societal impact of generative AI technologies and ensuring the product is developed and used ethically.
• Proactively addressing potential issues like bias, fairness, transparency, and privacy in AI models.


• Business Acumen:
• Understanding how generative AI can create business value, drive revenue, and contribute to a sustainable product strategy.
• Ability to conduct market analysis, competitor research, and identify new monetisation opportunities for AI-powered products.

• Ability to stay up to date with the fast-evolving field of AI/ML, including new algorithms, tools, and industry trends.
• Flexibility to pivot product direction based on emerging technology, customer feedback, or unforeseen challenges.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Required Experience/Skills:
• Proficiency in NLP (Natural Language Processing), Large Language model prompting, and cognitive search technologies, such as Watson Discovery, Elasticsearch and vector databases
• Expertise in NoSQL databases, such as Cloudant
• Experience with implementation and management of generative AI-enabled applications and enabling developer studios, such as watsonx.ai
• Skills in creating and managing AI assistants, such as Watson Assistant
• Ability to stay up to date with the fast-evolving field of AI/ML, including new algorithms, models, tools, and industry trends
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Familiarity with data science and data engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
