Responsibilities
Your future team
As an intern in one of our Security teams, you'll watch over our corporate environment and Atlassian cloud services which host many tens of thousands of customers. Using your experience in multiple languages and tech stacks you will discover and fix security vulnerabilities within Atlassian products and services, hone your pen testing and Red Team skills by analysing those, participate in architecture and code reviews, threat modelling, and work with all the Atlassian engineering groups.
Weβre looking for engineers who love to innovate, are ambitious and driven, and are excited about the opportunity to work with smart people on complex challenges.
This program is open to penultimate year university students with Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency. The internship dates are late November 2025 to late February 2026, full-time for 12 weeks.
Qualifications
Your background:
Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related technical field and completing your studies by January 2027
Great skills writing clean, efficient code
Be comfortable writing code and not depend on third-party products to do your job
Demonstrated interest in the Security Engineering field through academic coursework, previous work or internship experience, or personal projects
