We are seeking a Customer Data Insights Analyst for an 8-month secondment opportunity. Enhance business value by identifying and communicating new customer insights derived from Western Power’s data and research.

 

Your Role in Action  

  • Produce highly engaging written reports and visual aids (e.g. interactive dashboards, PowerPoint slide packs) that effectively communicate and deliver actionable insights to the internal stakeholders
  • Generate customer insights and business intelligence through sourcing of data and use of relevant business intelligence tools. Synthesize business intelligence and trend data to support recommendations for action.
  • Applies complex statistical and / or data visualization techniques.
  • Support the review, analysis and provision of insights into Western Power data that adds value and meets requirements of stakeholders.
  • Proactively create and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain processes and frameworks to ensure data integrity, consistency of presentation, and all reporting deadlines are met.
  • As part of a cross functional working community, deliver tailored outcomes for internal stakeholders by providing an authentic, positive and ‘can do’ approach, with a bigger picture perspective.
  • Manage business expectations in a highly engaging manner, delivering data analysis and insights with a clear and simple style of communication to drive significant business value.
  • Generate standard or custom insight reports for review by relevant stakeholders.
  • Performing statistical and numerical analysis to inform decision making.
  • Ability to synthesise cross functional analysis and build bigger picture insights and actions for Executive and Senior Leadership audiences.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

  • Solid experience of at least 5 years in research and intelligence gathering (including technical and professional knowledge of research methodologies) and preparation of recommendations and reports
  • Experience in dealing with large volumes of data and managing demanding customer and interested stakeholders.
  • Organisation and time management abilities to manage several priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications Word, Excel
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills and ability to collate information from various sources to produce clear and concise information for specific audiences.
  • Results oriented with proven experience in partnering with customers and stakeholders.
  • Project management skills.
