About the Role
As a Senior Data Analyst for Institutional Banking Operations, you will play a crucial role in supporting Bank’s domain ambitions by analysing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights. Your work will contribute to Management Insights and data driven decision making
You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and transforming data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, and generating reports that contribute to informed data driven decision-making for Banking operations for products like Trade, Lending etc;

What will your day look like?
- Collaborate with Institutions Banking Operations teams to understand data requirements and objectives for each project or client engagement.
- Focus on Institutional Trade Data analytics – Global Operations data to be utilised for Management decision making
- Hands on experience in representing dashboards using Power BI, Qlik and Microsoft suite like Presentations and excel macros
- Collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyse large datasets using advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualise and communicate insights effectively.
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related operational performance and present findings to management.
- Work closely with the IT and data engineering teams to optimise data collection processes and enhance data quality.
- Perform data cleansing and transformation to prepare datasets for analysis and reporting.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Continuously monitor data integrity and troubleshoot data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data-related tools and systems to improve the efficiency of data analysis and reporting.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analysis and client service
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Experience: Minimum 6- 8 years of experience in data analytics, with relevant experience as a Data Analyst.

Industry Expertise: Proven work experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a banking, trade product, or customer-oriented environment.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Qlik Sense, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, and other data analysis and visualization tools.

Data Expertise: Strong understanding of data modelling, data cleansing, and data transformation techniques.

Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.

Data Integration & Warehousing: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data integration processes.

Communication & Presentation: Strong ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Problem-Solving: Proactive mindset, always seeking innovative ways to improve data processes and analysis
