Senior Analytics Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant.

In this role, you will:

• Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
• Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
• Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
• Lead or participate on large cross group projects
• Mentor less experienced staff
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficient on experience on Tableau, Power bi, Power Apps, Power Platform
• Must have done Operational Reporting, KPI tracking & measurement for entire function
• Capable of analyzing complex data sets and identify actionable insights from the data
• Able to merge data from multiple disparate systems, bring them together and stitch them into single cube
• Proficient in Excel and PPT

• Knowledge of SQL, Python
• Predictive analytics, Machine Learning
• Has working knowledge of Procurement as a function.
• Working knowledge of Alteryx
• Stakeholder management
• Project Management

Job Expectations:

• The SCM organization is going through a major transformation in the data, analytics & processes. The suitable candidate should be able to

• Work with senior leadership of different functions in SCM (sourcing, PTP etc), understand the business requirement and provide insights and solution based on data
• Understand the system landscape and help in streamlining & simplifying the framework in and around ingestion and consumption of data
• Create multiple projects on various themes in SCM which helps in reducing noncompliance, achieve savings, increasing efficiency of the function
• Drive various transformation projects in partnership with various functions
• Able to work with multiple teams in varying locations across the globe
