DevOps Engineer

Overview

Acuity is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. The ideal candidate will have a background in big data solutions, automation, scripting, and AWS. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services.

Responsibilities

• Ensures DevOps practices and toolsets are followed to support our drive towards continuous delivery. 
• Develop tools and products that are used in automation and contribute to development milestones. 

• Continually look for ways to innovate and improve testing process to gain efficiencies. 
• Build solutions and be able to think holistically about engineering challenges and architecture. 
• Expert experience in design and implementation in terms of Infrastructure Creation/Configuration and CI/CD. 
• Awareness and exposure in deploying big data solutions. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field. 
• 5+ years’ experience using automated build/deploy tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent. 
• Proficiency with Python/PySpark to automate data pipelines. 
• Experience with AWS. 
• Experience with Databricks Delta Lake and Lakehouse. 

• Experience integrating Databricks with Git in a Private Virtual Cloud is a plus. 
• Understanding of MLOps is a plus.

Clearance Requirement

• US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
