What you'll do...

Position: Senior Data Analyst

Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Analyze and interpret information for one or more initiative work stream to improve business efficiency by using various analytical methodologies. Develop solutions within the business area that meet the business goals. Apply appropriate understanding of data ecosystem including Data Management, Data Quality Standards and Data Governance, Accessibility, Storage and Scalability. Use advanced knowledge in Data Discovery tools to write queries and analyze data to identify patterns, trends, outliers, and correlations. Support the identification and application of statistical techniques based on requirements. Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of exploratory data analysis research projects. Translate business requirements into projects, activities, and tasks, align them to overall business strategy, and develop domain specific artifact. Define, design, and implement the metrics and tools to convey and uncover business insights and empower data driven business and product decisions. Present to and influence the team and business audience using the appropriate data visualization frameworks and convey clear messages through business and stakeholder understanding. Ensure customer needs are met and analyze impact to business. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development and execution of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Monitor progress and recognize improvement opportunities.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

Skills required: Experience with data cleaning and preprocessing to identify and handle missing data, outliers, and inconsistencies using Python, R, and SQL. Experience with programming and data manipulation to perform data transformation and manipulation tasks using Python, R, and SQL. Experience with data analysis and interpretation to derive meaningful insights to support data-driven decisions. Experience with data visualization to present data visually to convey meaningful insights and trends using Tableau and Power BI. Experience with database management to build and interpret various types of data models using ETL and MS Visual Studio. Experience with data warehousing to aggregate unstructured data collected from multiple sources to help improve the efficiency of business operations. Experience with data modeling and schema design to create conceptual representation of data needed to store and analyze. Experience with Jupyter, RStudio, MS SQL, MySQL, and Alteryx. Experience with Advanced Excel. Experience with project management using Excel, Sharepoint, and Gantt Charts. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $138,911/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
