Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Works on design and development of data pipelines for supply chain which help in generating accurate metrics for business such as demand forecast and inventory. Closely work with the business to understand the requirements of different business features, come up with technical specification, propose design and development of pipeline. Work with a group of engineers including offshore associates by providing relevant technical direction. Build and maintain infrastructure required for pipelines. Assemble and analyze large and complex datasets and share business critical metrics with stakeholders. Create data validation processes for data sanity. Design improvements in infrastructure for scalability and availability. Develop Ad hoc reports to share insights with business. Work with stakeholders for data related technical issues. Identify and implement automation and performance improvements in application. Review proposed technical solutions, new architecture and code changes. Work with data science team to design and implement ML pipelines and models at scale.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience designing, developing, implementing data processing pipelines using Java, Python, and Airflow. Experience developing and maintaining Java-based web applications using J2EE and Spring. Experience developing and maintaining Restful APIs using Java and Spring. Experience designing and testing RDBMS including PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and NoSQL databases including Cassandra. Experience with GCP and Azure cloud platforms. Experience writing complex, highly optimized queries across large datasets. Experience analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights and recommendations. Experience with IDEs including Eclipse and IntelliJ. Experience with distributed version control systems including GIT. Experience with CI/CD solution using Jenkins. Experience monitoring and alerting solution including Grafana. Experience with Blob Storage including S3. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $174,518/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.   Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
