Job Description

Speedee Labs is McDonald’s State of the art innovation lab located in our Global headquarters in Chicago’s West Loop. Speedee Labs enables the McDonald’s system to learn, iterate and scale innovation at speed – powered by teams around the world.  The Speedee Labs Supervisor, Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that will drive business decisions and improve performance.  

This position reports to the Speedee Labs Director, Operations Testing and is based in Chicago, IL at the McDonald’s Headquarters (MHQ).

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Speedee Labs Research partners and Speedee Labs clients (market, innovation team, or function) to design and execute targeted KPI measurement strategies to maximize learning and insights in the most efficient ways possible.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure data integrity.
• Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support decision-making.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data collection systems and data management practices.

The expected salary range for this role is $75,700 – $94,620 per year

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
• People management experience preferred
• Enjoy working in fast paced, agile, and highly visible environment
• Familiarity and appreciation of Operations Science Principles relevant to McDonald’s Business– Principles of throughput, debottlenecking, capacity mgmt., human factors
• Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural differences and implications for consulting to teams from different cultures/backgrounds
