Job Description

The Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced data analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and insights, and developing and maintaining dashboards and reports. Also, the ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, architects, SMEs, testing and support teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work as Data Analyst in the Compliance (KYC, CRR, BSA/AML, OFAC) area
  • Design, develop, and execute complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Locker)
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives, and translate into actionable insights
  • Conduct data quality/data lineage assessments and implement data cleansing procedures
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the solutions, processes, configurations, and technical specifications
  • Participate in all phases of the data lifecycle, from data collection and ingestion to data analysis and reporting
  • Stay current on the latest data technologies and best practices
  • Design the solutions for the business requirement
  • Collaborate with testing team for quality assurance of the solution
  • Adhere to best practices and coding standards in development

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
    • 5+ years in banking and financial services, with a focus on Compliance data analysis
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced querying techniques (e.g., joins, subqueries, window functions)
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Locker)
    • Strong understanding of Compliance processes
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
    • Proficiency in Actimize (preferred, not required)
    • Proficiency in Python (preferred, not required)

     

    Compensation

    The expected annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
