Are you a student skilled in creative communication and with a structured way of working? Would you like to support our PLM journey through collaboration with business partners? Are you keen to support new users on how to use our systems and share the good stories from our existing users?

Then come join us as Student Assistant 10-15 hours per week where you will get practical experience with exactly this!

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is about how we best manage our product data in VELUX. We are looking for a Student Assistant to support our team mainly with communication, data analysis and documentation.

What you will do

Joining our PLM team in Østbirk, you will report to the Director of PLM and become part of our team of 12 within the organization of Technology and Modularisation.

As a Student Assistant you will support our team with projects from our PLM roadmap, in a combination of working from our office and your home office.

Your tasks can be tailored to fit your profile, but will include:

• Creating communication initiatives and assisting with communication of ongoing projects

• Updating and maintaining our PLM SharePoint Site

• Creating small learning and training videos to support our users

• Communicate training initiatives to our users

• Working with tools such as Camtasia, Canva and VideoScribe

• Creating PowerBI reports and sharing insights by data analysis

• Analysing survey results into actions

• Describing and documenting business processes within the organization

• Ad hoc tasks depending on your skills, e.g. assisting with presentations and workshops

Who you are

We seek a student assistant ready to engage, learn and make a meaningful contribution in a collaborative team setting. You are skilled within visual and written communication, work in a structured way and take responsibility for your own tasks.

It is important that you are comfortable with frequent interactions with and reaching out to internal stakeholders on your own initiative. Moreover, you take a meticulous approach to handling documents with a high attention to the small but important details and you can communicate clearly and precisely when speaking with our stakeholders.

Furthermore, you:

• Are enrolled in a study programme in Denmark (bachelor or master) within a relevant field, e.g. communication, design, business, engineering or other relevant education.

• Are proficient in PowerPoint and maybe even some video editing tools

• Have advanced skills in written and spoken English

• Have experience with Microsoft Office 365 and a solid proficiency in IT systems in general
