Artificial Intelligence: Building Brains with Deep Learning for Summer Online Teen Courses (Part/Time Contract)

Circuit Stream is a leader in future technology skills training and learning content. We offer world-class educational services for teen and adult learners with a focus on the skills needed to leverage immersive and emerging technology.

We are seeking passionate software engineers with a strong understanding of AI and Deep Learning skills, to teach our Artificial Intelligence: Building Brains with Deep Learning course to learners aged 13-18, online (via zoom)! Students will be learning the basic concepts of building an image recognition program using Python, and available libraries. The ideal instructor candidates for this course should possess a strong foundation in Python, the different libraries available within Python, Google Colab, Deep Learning, as well as some teaching, TA or training experience.

Preference will be given to candidates who are available to teach during the day (8am - 3pm PT) Online in July. Candidates selected for interviews will be contacted starting in May 2025.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and comprehensive classroom sessions with teen learners following the Artificial Intelligence: Building Brains with Deep Learning course curriculum.
• Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship to students as they build an image recognition program using Python, and available libraries
• Showcase proficiency in coding with Python, and Deep Learning Algorithms
• Share real-world experiences, case studies, and insights to offer students a holistic understanding of the field.
• Grade assessments that accurately measure student understanding and progress within the course.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience in creating AI-powered models, that can recognize images, and handwriting
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Proficiency in coding with Python, Deep Learning Algorithms like CNNs, and Google Colab
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
• Innate logical thinking and the ability to inspire and nurture logical thinking in students.
• A passion for guiding and mentoring students, fostering their growth, and providing meaningful feedback.
• Willingness to adapt to evolving curriculum needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• A collaborative attitude, eager to contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
• A proactive attitude towards ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
• A strong portfolio of relevant work to showcase your skills and experience.
