Job Title: Data Management Specialist 

Location: Virginia Hybrid/Remote

AttainX is seeking a meticulous Data Management Specialist to support data governance, data quality, and metadata management efforts. This role is critical in executing USCIS’s Data Strategy initiatives, ensuring data integrity and interoperability. Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data management, data quality assurance, or data governance.
• Experience with data visualization tools and metadata management systems.
• Knowledge of federal data management policies and data security standards.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to drive decision-making.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently in a hybrid/remote setting and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Excellent Writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferably have USCIS background and client experience.
• Knowledge of federal data policies, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, OMB M-19-18, Federal Data Strategy).

Duties:

• Assist in the implementation of data quality standards and data integrity frameworks.
• Support data governance policies, including data standardization and master data management.
• Perform data lineage analysis and contribute to the creation of data catalogs.
• Conduct root cause analyses on data issues and recommend remediation strategies.
• Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards to monitor data quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
