Engineering Manager, YouTube Creator Assist

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience managing a team of Software Engineers and technical leads.
• Experience working with ML models, tuning precision/recall, Generative AI model quality.
• Experience with the Support domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers, driving technical strategy and execution of key projects focused on delivering Creator Support on Mobile devices using native mobile, full stack and AI/ML technologies.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define the goals and roadmap of the team.
• Provide team management, technical mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and development.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
