About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst as part of Data Engineering and Management within Corporate & Investment Banking.  The role will work closely with the product owners, initiative leaders and APP lead to execute multi-year roadmap for CIB Data Domain Strategy and Enablement.   This individual will wear multiple hats ranging from business analysis, running ad-hoc and pre-canned analytics, conceptual and logical product modeling, working in the agile construct and presenting to leaders within the group. This is a high visibility role and will span across multiple product streams.

In this role, you will:

  • Organize and lead complex companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
  • Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements
  • Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues
  • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data governance standards and procedures
  • Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
  • Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
  • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
  • Serve as relationship manager for a line of business
  • Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
  • Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution


 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of financial products such as: Securities & Derivatives, Collateral, Margins, Investments and Securities Financing
  • Experience working with Corporate Risk, Corporate Finance and Middle Office
  • Advance data analysis skills
  • 4+ years of SQL experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to analyze metrics and articulate data trends both visually and verbally, and articulate complex concepts to senior leadership
  • Experience operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
  • Ability to develop partnerships and effectively collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Experience with Tableau and PowerBi

$111,100.00 - $197,500.00 USD Annual
