AI Intern- Summer 2025

Overview

As an AI Intern, you will work with the Corporate IT department to provide support on various projects and initiatives.

National Internship Program:

Our program was created in 2020 to encourage and support growth of our next generation of talent. Since then, we have provided a place for over 180 interns nationwide to find meaningful professional development experiences within the insurance industry each year. During our 10-week program, interns present new ideas and help contribute to building our culture. Join us this summer and grow with the support of a dedicated mentor, be exposed to leadership, departments, and other interns, and create lasting connections. 

What You'll Do

Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.

• Works with teams to deliver core services in the company’s corporate infrastructure.
• Participate on work teams, contribute to projects and initiatives, and perform various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department.
• May perform analytical work within the assigned functional area.
• Perform research and prepare reports on assigned topics and /or projects.
• Works with teams to write unit test cases to ensure successful development.
• Works with the teams to support the build and deploy process.
• Monitoring the health of applications and systems.
• Monitoring the status of schedules, and corresponding batch jobs, for success and/or failure.
• Researching job failures, resolving where possible, and creating work orders to track issues. Researching, recommending and implementing process improvements where applicable.
• Assists with platform endeavors where help is needed to improve services.
• Travel is expected to be negligible in this role.

What You'll Need

• Must be enrolled in post-secondary education, ideally in a degree program concentrating in information technology or information technology management.
• Preferred majors include: Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, or Data Management.
• Proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
