You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to develop robust data solutions that support business intelligence, machine learning, and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain our Exadata enviroment
- Optimize data storage and retrieval strategies using cloud-based data platforms on Azure
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Work with structured and unstructured data to build efficient data models and warehouses.
- Automate data workflows and improve processing efficiency using modern tools and frameworks.
- Document data engineering processes, workflows, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Expertise in cloud-based data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or AWS Step Functions.
- Familiarity with data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Annual Salary
$115,000.00 - $230,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
