2025 Working in Science Internship Program at AstraZeneca (July – September) 

The Internship Program at AstraZeneca is aimed at graduates and students of the last years of universities who want to use the knowledge gained during their studies in practice. The Precision Medicine Project Management team plays a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of diagnostic and biomarker strategies across clinical development programs. As part of Precision Medicine & Biosamples (PMB), the team ensures seamless collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, optimizing resource allocation, timelines, and risk management for diagnostic projects.

Requirements:

1.Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related disciplines).
Strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in project management, AI, or data analysis.

2. Technical Skills & Knowledge
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, AI modeling, and tool development.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and predictive analytics (preferred).
Experience working with data integration tools and APIs (Resourcit, PLANIT, or similar).
Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
Ability to work with large datasets and automate data-driven decision-making.

3. Soft Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop AI-driven solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Posting is closing 31st of March 2025. All submitted applications will be verified by us and assessed based on the objective criteria. Selected candidates will receive an invitation to introduce and present themselves using HireVue - a tool that allows to send answers to recruitment questions in the form of video recordings. On the final stage of the process, you will remotely meet the recruiting team consisting of representatives of a given department. At the end of April, we will announce a list of people for whom this year's internship program recruitment process was successful. 

The internships will start in July and lasts 3 months.

We work in a hybrid scheme, be prepared to work partially office based.
