Data Analyst

Our ideal team member will have strong analytics, programming and mathematical skills and have a naturally curious and creative mind. Your role will be turn data into meaningful insights and help enable smarter business processes. Your role will be to mine, interpret and clean data as well as ask questions, connect the dots, and uncover hidden opportunities and insights. Your goal is to extract as much value and potential from data.

The everyday hustle: 
• Collaborate across business processes to develop an understanding of needs
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Research and devise models for data analysis
• Communicate findings to stakeholders
• Use analytics software, data visualization software, and data management programs to create reports, dashboards, and other visualizations that produce meaningful insights
• Process and verify the integrity of the data used for analysis
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and structure large data sets to find useable information
• Filter and clean data
• Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Locate and define process improvement opportunities
• Keep current with technical and industry developments and trends

Do you have what it takes? 
• BS in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
• Previous work experience in a data analytics role (0-1 year)
• Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
• Proficiency in creation of dashboards and visualizations
• Experience with Excel, data visualization tools (PowerBI preferred), and programming languages (i.e., SQL, Python)
• Comfort working in a dynamic, high-performance team with several concurrent projects

What makes you uncommon?
