Planning Data Analyst Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planning Data Analyst Assistant to support the Planning team in managing key operational tasks related to inventory, sales reporting, purchase order (PO) management, SKU creation, and data accuracy. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless execution of planning functions through data management, process efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.

All True Classic roles are global and omni-channel, driving accountability across product categories, regions, and sales/marketing channels. This role will allow you to impact operations worldwide, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and delivering success across diverse markets and platforms.

Key Areas of Accountability

1. Data & Reporting Support

• Assist in populating, maintaining, and distributing inventory and sales reports to support Planning team decision-making.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all reporting tools and systems.

2. Purchase Order (PO) Management

• Manage PO entry, ensuring accuracy in quantities, pricing, and delivery timelines.

• Monitor and track the PO lifecycle, including order status updates, adjustments, and issue resolution.

• Support PO modifications and updates based on business needs.

3. SKU & Pack Creation

• Create and maintain SKUs to ensure new products are accurately set up in all relevant systems.

• Assist in pack creation, ensuring proper configurations for inventory and order fulfillment.

4. Inventory Management

• Assist in monitoring inventory levels, identifying key risks and opportunities.

• Ensure alignment between available inventory, incoming POs, and forecasted demand.

• Work closely with Merchandising and Planning to optimize stock positions.

5. Production & Cost Support

• Partner with the Production team to track and update cost changes for products.

• Ensure cost adjustments are accurately reflected in planning and financial systems.

6. Unit Conversion & Freight Analysis

• Perform unit conversions to ensure accurate calculations in reporting and inventory tracking.

• Assist in analyzing freight costs, identifying trends, and supporting cost-efficiency initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Planning Team

• Ensure all inventory and PO data are aligned with forecasting needs.

Production Team

• Support cost updates and production tracking.

Merchandising Team

• Assist in SKU setup, pack creation, and purchase order adjustments.

Finance & Operations Teams

• Provide insights into freight costs, inventory movements, and demand alignment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, supply chain, or inventory management.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools.

• Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in retail, eCommerce, or direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Looker, or similar planning tools.

• Basic understanding of demand planning and forecasting processes.
