Your Role & Team
The Insights and Analytics team partners with the business to identify opportunities for business growth whilst also supporting and driving high quality decision-making that helps CreditorWatch achieve its goals.
As a Data & Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in informing strategic decision-making processes and develop actionable recommendations for the business.
Your primary focus will be in supporting decision making for the marketing and product teams, bridging the gap between marketing performance and product usage, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the customer journey from acquisition to retention.
This role reports directly to the Head of Data Analytics and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions based out of our Sydney CBD office.
Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Uncover actionable insights to optimise marketing spend and drive revenue growth by analysing marketing performance metrics, customer behaviour, and market trends.
- Measure and analyse the impact of marketing campaigns across channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional marketing channels, to determine what works, what doesn't, and why.
- Partner with the product team to identify trends impacting product utilisation and customer retention, and inform and support strategic and tactical product initiatives.
- Build dashboards and reports that transform complex data into easy-to-understand visualisations and actionable insights, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and other departments to align on business goals and strategies.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in analytics, data visualisation, and technology, and leverage industry insights to drive continuous improvement.
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in the role, you’ll have at least 3 years of experience in data analytics. You'll have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and SQL, and experience using data visualisation tools like Tableau. You will be able to to interpret complex data, identify trends, and present actionable insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Lastly you'll come with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and be a collaborative team player, capable of managing multiple priorities and driving business impact through data-driven decision-making.
