About the role 

This is a 6-month fixed-term position with the potential for extension, offering you a unique chance to play a pivotal role in our ongoing projects and initiatives while gaining valuable experience in the field of AI.

As an Asscociate AI Technical Consultant, you will embark on a learning journey, working closely with our experienced consultants and development team. Your role will involve supporting the technical aspects of AI Implementation projects, providing you with hands-on experience and mentorship to develop your skills.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist in Client Engagement: Support senior consultants as they serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding the technical aspects of AI projects. Learn to understand client needs and how to address them effectively.

• Solution Development: Work alongside our team to assist in the design, development, and implementation of AI solutions. Engage in a mix of client-facing activities and hands-on coding to build your technical skills.

• Integration Support: Help ensure all relevant input data is extracted from appropriate external sources and assist in pushing solutions into the right systems for seamless functionality and user experience.

• Data Exercises and Proof of Value Projects: Participate in delivering data exercises and Proof of Value projects. Gain experience in demonstrating the value of our solutions to potential clients.

• Technical Advisory: Learn to serve as a technical advisor under the guidance of senior consultants. Assist clients through implementation and integration phases.

• Strategic Collaboration: Work with clients from various industries, such as terminals, healthcare, and retail, to identify technical challenges and contribute to delivering suitable solutions.

• Requirement Gathering: Support the collection and alignment of requirements, helping to contribute to an effective algorithm feature roadmap.

• Debugging and Support: Provide support in debugging and resolving technical issues for existing clients, developing your troubleshooting skills.

What you’ll bring to the team

You are an exceptional communicator with a passion for solving complex technical challenges, always keeping the client's perspective in mind. Your talent lies in aligning stakeholders and clients, particularly during the pre-sales phase, and seamlessly implementing our solutions and products. You possess a deep interest in industrial processes and equipment, and you're eager to bring your expertise to a small, yet impactful team. Your enthusiasm for AI and your readiness to make a significant contribution are what set you apart. Next to this you have:

• 0-2 years of experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Econometrics, Operations Research, or a similar STEM (science, technology, engineering, and maths) field.

• Basic experience with Python, JavaScript, practical software development, and basics in version control (e.g., Git). Experience with APIs, Node.js, Python libraries, and JS packages is a plus.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Eagerness to take on responsibility and learn from more experienced colleagues.

• Ability to switch between coding and client-facing consultation under guidance.

• A “let’s get the job done” mentality.

• An affinity with the technical market and a willingness to dive into new technical subjects to make them ‘your own’.
