Who are we looking for?

 

The Data Analyst II ensures that AAA Life Insurance makes effective business and operational decisions. As a Data Analyst II, you will be at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights. This role involves extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to provide valuable recommendations that drive departmental strategies and decision-making.

Responsibilities

How will you contribute?

  • Develop automated, easy to understand reports and ad hoc analyses to address specific questions and provide insights to guide decision making for the Digital Marketing organization.
  • Manage data extraction, storage, transformation, and processing through data analytics routines to support audit activities, and to create repeatable data analytics to support continuous monitoring programs.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and data analysis tools (i.e., Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Google Analytics) to gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, identifying trends, patterns, and key performance metrics for SEM, Email, programmatic marketing, and other digital marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with team to interpret data and provide actionable insights to optimize overall strategic priorities and strategies.
  • Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to translate complex data into clear visualizations that staff can easily interpret and use to inform their strategies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking initiatives against established goals, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis results.
  • Perform administration of the analytics and reporting tools, which includes maintaining user access and change management responsibilities over the applications.
  • Carry out special projects as deemed appropriate by management.

Qualifications

What do you offer?

  • Bachelor in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related technical field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficient in data analytics software, such as R, SQL, or Python, is required.
  • Ability to create and interpret reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Proficient with personal computers and in using Microsoft Office software products.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

For the states of California, Colorado, New York and Washington the pay scale is $84,000 to $126,000 and pay scales may vary based upon location.
