Our team is at the forefront of our organization's multi-year digital transformation journey. We pioneered the launch of an innovative SaaS Planning solution, automated manual processes with RPA bots, deployed a cutting-edge business intelligence platform, and significantly enhanced our Supply Chain Analytics capabilities. We provide support to Four Planning (i.e., Demand, Supply, Spares, & Market) and Logistics teams in managing and procuring Wireless Network equipment (e.g., 5G, LTE, FirstNet). As a full-service solution delivery team, we collaborate with internal and external partners to explore and implement GenAI use-cases.

We are seeking team-oriented individuals for our Lead Advanced Analytics positions who are passionate about data, storytelling, and leveraging the power of ML/GenAI to drive actionable insights, uncover opportunities, and help develop a culture of experimentation and discovery.

Experience needed:

  • Expertise in R or Python, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (e.g., CTE, PL/SQL, Windowing functions) and Excel (e.g., VBA, Power Query, Array formulas).

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong statistical analysis, data modeling, and data engineering skills.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and coding best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub and Jira platforms.
  • Experience with Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Familiarity with SaaS and proficiency in using cloud platforms.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, coupled with superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive experience and knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile development frameworks.
  • Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams comprising both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals.

You'll play a vital role in supporting our Planning partners and fostering a culture of experimentation and exploration.

Overall Purpose: THIS JOB REQUIRES SPECIAL APPROVAL FROM THE COMPENSATION JOB FAMILY OWNER. Strategically analyze data from diverse sources using advanced predictive modeling, statistics, and trend analysis, thereby driving informed decision-making and optimizing business performance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to solve a variety of business problems, predict behaviors, and identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictions. Well-versed with Relational (e.g., Oracle or MySQL) and/or Data Warehouse data storage (e.g., Snowflake or Databricks Delta Lake). Data sources including but not limited to internal and external sources, datalakes, data warehouses such as eCDW, BIDW, etc.

  • Statistical Methods and Decision Support: Apply a range of advanced statistical methods to quantify data variances and use traditional modeling techniques to support decision-making. Most common tools are Tableau, Palantir, PowerBI (AI Insights), Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, etc.

  • Business Case Development and Analytics Tools: Develop business cases and create complex models utilizing big data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI AI Insights, Databricks) for modeling and process integration, and to make recommendations for improvements to processes, financials, business models, etc. Build and test predictive models on various data samples and verify their accuracy in real-world scenarios (e.g., Linear/Logistic Regression, Time Series).

Reporting and Business Insights: Develop visualizations such as dashboards, reports and charts, and advise business partners on data patterns and relationships to recommend strategic directions. Advise business partners with regard to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.

Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Our Lead Advanced Analytics earn between $130,700.00 - $196,100.00 USD Annual in Dallas, TX. Our Lead Advanced Analytics earn between $116,700.00 - $175,100.00 USD Annual in Atlanta, GA.
