Stellenbeschreibung

• Analysis of IT solutions within the entire service reporting environment:
  • Conducting interviews with architects, data engineers, and software developers
  • Analyzing the contents of existing databases (>100) and their interfaces with each other and other source systems
• Creating suitable models that describe databases, information flows, and data products, as well as their relationships:
  • Visualization of data flows within the solutions at the technical level
  • Description of data products and their complexity in IT representation
• Deriving concrete measures to harmonize and reduce the complexity of existing IT solutions:
  • Identifying solution-specific variations of identical information
  • Designing a target architecture for all technically necessary data processing and the required interfaces

Qualifikationen

General – Key Requirements for the Consultant Data Engineer

• Knowledge of Telekom (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to abstract
• Analytical thinking
• German language skills (preferred but not mandatory)

Conceptual Knowledge – Key Requirements for the Consultant Data Engineer

• Data Products / Data Mesh (preferred but not mandatory)
• Business process modeling (preferred but not mandatory)
• UML (including data modeling)
• Modeling tools (e.g., Innovator)
• Data Warehouse / Data Lake

DevOps and Programming Languages – Key Requirements for the Consultant Data Engineer

• GitLab configuration and development
• Python in the context of pipelines (preferred but not mandatory)
• SQL
• C# (preferred but not mandatory)
• Cloud computing (Azure, GCP, or similar)
• Jira

DWH and Reporting Tools – Key Requirements for the Consultant Data Engineer

• SQL Server relational databases
• SQL Server Integration Services
• SQL Server Analysis Services
• Power BI
• Snowflake (preferred but not mandatory)
