Data Operations - Assistant Vice President

Job Description

We are currently seeking a data operations developer to help us collect, transform and extract meaning from data for the Global Technology Services (GTS) Business Intelligence & Analytics team at State Street. The position performs a wide range of activities with experts from GTS, data, business intelligence, governance, and data analysts to collaboratively solve a wide array of complex technical problems.

About the GTS Business Intelligence & Analytics team

The GTS Business Intelligence & Analytics team is an exciting and growing area of State Street with unique insight into the whole spectrum of our data, metrics, and dashboards at State Street. The team is focused on the providing enhanced visibility and actionable insights in dashboards that help identify critical risks, status, and trends that help inform a wide range of audiences from daily operational teams to State Street executives and up to the Board of Directors. As a data operations developer within the GTS Business Intelligence & Analytics team, you will have a significant opportunity to making a difference on the team, within the GTS organization, as well as State Street overall.

What you will be responsible for

• Overseeing a wide array of data collection and cleaning efforts
• Researching and implementing new data operation tools as needed
• Identify and implement solutions to improve the quality of all data types
• Collaborating and building relationships with the other primary data functions across State Street

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience or equivalent in delivering large-scale, complex programs with focus on technology transformation in big data modernization, data science/advanced analytics, business intelligence, data preparation/data warehouses
• Advanced experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI

Advanced experience coding with one or more of the following: SQL, DAX
