This position is based in our Irvine, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule with a few days remote per week.   

 

Program details:  

 

We offer internships across a variety of departments and locations throughout the U.S., giving you the chance to work at one of our dynamic offices. Our internships are hybrid, blending hands-on, in-office experience with the flexibility of remote work. Expect to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Beyond just work, our program includes exclusive opportunities for growth, like personalized learning & development sessions, interactive training, executive speaker events, and exciting group projects. Important dates:  

 

• March: Applications Open (some postings may close early due to applicant volume)  

• March – April: Recruiters and hiring managers will review applications and reach out to candidates on a rolling basis. Timing of outreach for each internship position may vary, and some interviews might start sooner than others, but candidates can expect to hear by the end of April if selected for an interview. 

• May: All interviews to be completed and offers to be made 

• June 2nd – August 8th: First cohort start & end date 

• June 16th – August 22nd: Second cohort start & end date 

 

Department summary: 

 

This role will support the AI Center of Excellence (AI COE) department, which focuses on developing innovative AI-based solutions to enhance business processes and drive operational efficiency. 

 

Your role: 

 

• Collaborate with team members to integrate the latest Gen AI technologies into internal solutions  

• Implementing and optimizing machine learning algorithms   

• Data preprocessing, model development and testing  

• Contribute to code review and work on debugging  

• Support documentation and report creation  

 

What you bring to the role: 

 

• Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program, or recently graduated (within the last semester or quarter) from an accredited college/university program. 

• Good understanding of latest Gen AI technologies and frameworks (Vertex AI, Gemini, etc.)  

• Solid foundation of programming languages like Python and Java  

• Understanding of Machine learning concepts   

• Familiarity with AI frameworks (such as TensorFlow)  

• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms  

• Ideally practical experience through personal projects or coursework  

 

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $46,000.00 - $73,600.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
