Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics Development team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Alteryx Designer, Server and Analytics Cloud, Tableau, and data integration methods, playing a pivotal role in designing scalable analytics solutions. This role will be responsible for building efficient data pipelines, creating high-impact dashboards, and ensuring seamless data integration across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development:
    • Design and develop efficient ETL workflows using Alteryx Designer, Server and Analytics cloud.
    • Optimize data preparation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
  • Analytics Engineering:
    • Build and maintain data models and pipelines to support analytical requirements, incorporating modelling standards like dimensional and relational modelling.
    • Develop and maintain reusable data assets that support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Tableau Development:
    • Create and maintain robust Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
    • Ensure dashboards are insightful, visually appealing, and aligned with business needs.
  • Data Integration:
    • Integrate data from various internal and external sources to ensure unified, consistent views.
    • Define and implement best practices for data integration and transformation.
  • Data Governance:
    • Ensure adherence to data quality, accuracy, and governance standards.
    • Support data governance initiatives through documentation and process enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with Global Data & Analytics (D&A) teams to align data strategies and architecture.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
    • Collaborate and build rapport with our federated analytics teams to understand existing solutions and avoid duplicated efforts and solutions.
    • Facilitate collaboration between analytics, IT, and business teams to maximize data value.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong expertise with Alteryx Designer, Server and Analytics Cloud, including workflow automation and optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau for dashboard development.
  • Experience with data integration techniques and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with programming languages like Python or R.
  • Certification in Alteryx.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
