• 6-month contract

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As the Senior Data Quality Specialist you will provide accurate, reliable and timely data quality insights to key data stakeholders and the wider bank, including regulatory and compliance demands. 

You will develop data quality rules and measurements, design and roll out data quality dashboards, work with Data Stewards and the wider bank to identify issues and roll out improvements, and work with Technology to obtain the necessary data and automate processes. You will also work with Westpac Group to ensure alignment in approach where required.

Ōu Pūkenga | About You

• 4+ years’ experience in a data management role, including at least 2 years’ experience in advanced data quality measurement, reporting and remediation in a complex environment.

• Some Database design and Data Warehouse knowledge and experience would be beneficial.

• Demonstrated ability across analytical technology – Informatica Data Quality (required), SQL, Oracle.

• Demonstrated ability in the development and maintenance of a highly controlled data environment.

• Facilitation skills also required to help run data quality workshops.

• Exceptional documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex material as clearly as possible.

• Able to plan, prioritise, execute and manage tasks independently.
