job purpose: 

The Senior Analyst, Data Governance and Audit responsibilities include master data creation and maintenance as assigned, track and monitor compliance and completion of internal control audits monthly, and provide support to internal and external audit requests, for a rapidly growing company. 

responsibilities: 

  • Master Data
    • Create and maintain master data as assigned across two systems (NetSuite and D365)
      • Master data examples include vendors, customers, items, spare parts, purchase prices, finished goods pricing, standard costs, and projects
    • Assist in documenting and maintaining master data forms, process maps, and SOP’s
    • Assist in building efficient master data processes, including system uploads
    • Conduct master data reviews for completeness, consistency, and relevance as assigned
  • Internal Controls
    • Administer program to ensure compliance with internal audit remediation plans and that monthly audits of controls are being performed
    • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Other
    • Recommend process improvements and action plans
    • Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned

skills/qualifications required: 

  • B.S. in Accounting/Finance
  • 2-3 years of experience in Internal or External Audit required
  • Strong analytical, systems, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Highly curious and tolerant of ambiguity
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, database software and other applicable accounting and financial software and systems.
