Junior Data Engineer in Finance Tribe

Finance Tribe enables efficient management of Danske Bank's financial position and resources by providing high quality data via modern technology solutions across all financial domains.

Performance and Profitability Support Squad in Finance Tribe responsible to enable advisors and performance management to efficiently evaluate customer profitability by providing a high-quality data foundation based on AWS.

You will join a Great team of developers, BI & Data Engineers, DevOps, IT Systems Analysts and Business Analysts, Architects - all working in a cross-functional and self-managed agile squads.

We are seeking a candidate who is an innovative and creative problem solver, demonstrating high performance and a relentless curiosity to learn and experiment with new technologies. The ideal candidate will have a 'can do' mentality and be an open-minded team player.

You will:

• Design, build, and maintain ETLs and infrastructure required for data processing, analysis, and integration across various systems
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using IaaS and Terraform
• Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing data validation and cleansing processes
• Utilize AWS data services (e.g., AWS Glue, AWS databases) to optimize data processes
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to define and implement data engineering strategies

About you:

• 2+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer with strong understanding of ETL processes, relational databases, and data modelling
• Experience with CI/CD, IaaS, and Terraform
• Practical experience with AWS data services
• Proficient in at least one programming language suitable for ETL development (Python)
• Ability to work amid frequent updates to processes and to contribute to the establishment of new engineering capabilities
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• AWS Certified Data Engineer/Architect associate (would be a bonus)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Science
• Upper-Intermediate English skills

Monthly salary range from 2680 EUR to 4020 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
