Who are we looking for?

This position supports ESI’s sustainability endeavors by ensuring proper data management for our tracked ESG metrics. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and validating ESG data to ensure completeness and accuracy, feeding into our annual sustainability publications, tracking progress toward our 2030 Sustainability Goals, and supporting regulatory and voluntary reporting needs.

What will you be doing?

As an ESG Analyst, you need to

  • Oversee global ESG data collection, validate monthly data, and ensure accuracy and auditability.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing team to track green energy usage.
  • Manage Power BI infrastructure improvements for ESG data collection and coordinate system updates.
  • Assist in rolling out new ESG metrics and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare ESG data reports for leadership and support annual ESG reports.
  • Aid in special projects and develop quarterly ESG communications

Who are You?

Ideally, you will have a 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Preferred fields: Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Sustainability Management, or equivalent), and
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in ESG, data analytics, project management, or related fields.
  • You are Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • must have a reliable internet connection and ability to work at least 4 hours daily overlapping US East Coast business hours.

What competencies will you need?

To be successful in this role, you need to have

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Power BI being a significant plus.
  • Project management skills, including gathering inputs from multiple stakeholders and consolidating information.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to present metrics, explain findings, and articulate challenges.
  • Data storytelling and visualization expertise, translating complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and collaborating with global stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team.
