Product Delivery Lead Ops & Claims

We’re looking for a Product Delivery Lead to oversee the development, delivery, and operational excellence of our data products. Key responsibilities 

• End-to-end Accountability for data products by overseeing the complete lifecycle, from conceptualization and development to deployment and operations, ensuring delivery of business value.  

• This specifically means continuous delivery of the one-stop shop solution for operational reporting in P&C Re, and supporting claims transformation by enabling portfolio claims steering and improving risk avoidance. 

• In collaboration with business stakeholders, define and drive the strategic vision for data products, creating actionable delivery roadmaps and aligning product delivery and resourcing with business priorities 

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric data assets and applications. 

• Actively contribute to the technical design while ensuring data products are reliable, scalable, efficient, and compliant with governance and regulatory standards. 

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Claims & Operations data, providing insights and guidance to stakeholders for effective use of this data. 

• Co-ordinate deliveries with external teams, managing risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure seamless execution. 

• Actively participate in the projects and initiatives as required 

 

About you 

To be successful in this role, you have: 

• A university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. 

• 5+ years of experience in data and analytics roles, with a track record of delivering impactful, business-oriented solutions.  

• Experience in reinsurance/insurance industry, preferably in the post-bind domain 

• Proficiency in modern coding languages (Python, SQL, TypeScript). Hands-on familiarity with tools like Palantir Foundry, Power BI is preferred. 

• Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders in a global environment. 

• Strong understanding of data product lifecycle management and delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). 

• Strong skills in translating strategic objectives into actionable delivery roadmaps and measurable outcomes. 

• Excellent communication abilities in English, with the capacity to bridge the gap between technical and business audiences.
