Are you ready to take ownership of global master data and play a key role in our ERP transformation?

Morgan Advanced Materials is looking for a Master Data Manager to join our Performance Carbon business unit. This role is critical in ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of our new ERP system (MS D365), working as a bridge between the business unit and the ERP project team.

 

With a focus on data accuracy, consistency, and governance, this role will lead master data strategies across our global manufacturing operations. You will drive data quality initiatives, support process improvements, and enable the business to leverage data for operational efficiency and decision-making.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

 

  • Develop and implement master data management strategies and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across ERP, MES, and business platforms.
  • Align data standards, definitions, and classifications across global manufacturing operations.
  • Act as the business-facing expert for Master Data during the ERP (MS D365) rollout.
  • Ensure seamless data integration and migration, minimising disruption to manufacturing sites.
  • Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, purchasing, and finance teams to define data requirements.
  • Monitor and improve data quality metrics, identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
  • Develop process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Implement best practices to maintain a single source of truth across global data systems.
  • Lead and develop the MDM Group, ensuring efficient execution of master data tasks.
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, and supply chain teams to drive alignment.
  • Work with senior leadership to establish KPIs, SLAs, and reporting standards.

 

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • At least five years of experience in master data management in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in ERP systems (MS D365 preferred) and business process integration.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading data-driven initiatives.
  • Understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, and finance processes.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive data governance, quality, and compliance initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or a related field.
