Position overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Power BI Technical Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for data analysis, data modeling, and developing insightful reports and dashboards. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Microsoft Power BI and other related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Identify and select the best data sources for analysis.
- Develop data models and data flows to support business processes.
- Design and develop reports and dashboards for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure data accuracy and functionality.
- Deploy reports and dashboards to the production system.
- Provide support for enterprise data models, reports, and Power BI users.
- Monitor new features in MS Fabric and evaluate their relevance for the organization.
- Implement and optimize valuable MS Fabric features for improved data-driven business decisions.
Required skills and experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst & Power BI Consultant in a multinational company, global services environment, or consultancy.
- In-depth experience with MS Power BI (backend and frontend), MS Fabric, Power Query, DAX language, and Tabular Editor.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics or similar is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate for automated data refresh.
- Experience with the Azure data platform (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse) is a plus.
- Microsoft Certification PL300 (Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst) or DP600 (Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer) is a plus
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate professionally.
