We are currently in search of a Data Scientist to plan, build, optimize, and implement advanced analytical methodologies, procedures, products, and mathematical models that provide analytical support and interpret insights, using advanced analytics technologies, to address business opportunities and problems and implement business strategy.

Are you a data scientist who can:

• Take a hands-on approach to solving challenges, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative techniques.
• Develop and optimize machine learning models for recommender systems, including collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid approaches.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as matrix factorization, deep learning, and reinforcement learning to enhance recommendation accuracy and user experience.
• Analyse user behaviour and preferences to create personalized recommendations that drive engagement and satisfaction.
• Set-up and run AB-test experiments to ensure data-driven decision-making through simulations and experimentation.
• Drive projects independently, translating business problems into AI-powered solutions with measurable impact.
• Stay curious and adaptable, continuously learning and improving in a fast-paced, evolving field.
• Translate business requirements into effective AI models, ensuring they align with strategic goals and business impact.
• Build, test, and deploy advanced analytical models and MLOps pipelines that enhance decision-making, reduce risks, lower costs, and optimize efficiency.

We are looking for:

• Minimum qualification: Degree in BSc/MSc in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience required: 5 years’ experience within data science.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Python for data science, machine learning, and model development.
  • Writing complex SQL queries and working with large datasets using pyspark/SQL/SAS tools.
  • Developing AI-powered workflows using relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP.
  • Natural Language Processing, embedding / transformer models, to be applied in the context of Recommender Systems.
  • Monitoring and visualizing model performance with MLflow or similar analytics platforms.
  • A solid understanding of machine learning principles, including neural networks, model optimization, and deployment best practices.
