A Glimpse into Your New Role

As a Product Master Data Analyst, you will support the Product Team by managing product master data across the organization, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all product-related information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and ensure data integrity across product information systems.
  • Act as the single source of truth for product data, enforcing data governance rules and coordinating updates.
  • Work with vendors to set up and manage product data in proprietary systems, ensuring correct configuration.
  • Audit supplier data & invoices to identify cost efficiencies and discrepancies.
  • Liaise with the Product Manager and vendors on product data issues.
  • Oversee product updates, including price changes, attribute modifications, and product discontinuation.
  • Provide recommendations for system enhancements and contribute to development scoping.
  • Maintain the supplier agreements register and general product administration.
  • Support product and system maintenance, ensuring clean and up-to-date data across all platforms.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in retail or wholesale environments.
  • Strong data governance and quality control knowledge.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies proactively.
  • Proficiency in product data management systems and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data entry, inventory planning, or administration experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (preferred but not required).
