A Glimpse into Your New Role
As a Product Master Data Analyst, you will support the Product Team by managing product master data across the organization, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all product-related information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure data integrity across product information systems.
- Act as the single source of truth for product data, enforcing data governance rules and coordinating updates.
- Work with vendors to set up and manage product data in proprietary systems, ensuring correct configuration.
- Audit supplier data & invoices to identify cost efficiencies and discrepancies.
- Liaise with the Product Manager and vendors on product data issues.
- Oversee product updates, including price changes, attribute modifications, and product discontinuation.
- Provide recommendations for system enhancements and contribute to development scoping.
- Maintain the supplier agreements register and general product administration.
- Support product and system maintenance, ensuring clean and up-to-date data across all platforms.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in retail or wholesale environments.
- Strong data governance and quality control knowledge.
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies proactively.
- Proficiency in product data management systems and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Data entry, inventory planning, or administration experience.
- Tertiary qualification in a related field (preferred but not required).
