Job Description:

What You'll Do: 

• Data Extraction and Transformation: With guidance from the Datawarehouse team and Finance Systems Senior Manager, extract relevant data from the finance system, transform this data into a usable format for analysis, and load the data into existing analytics tools or platforms (particularly Power BI). 
• Support migration to Microsoft Fabric: Support the team in the migration of data warehouse to Microsoft Fabric. This includes utilizing and knowledge sharing on Python and other tools and languages. 
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation outlining the structure and functionality for assigned projects. 
• Support Business as Usual (BAU) - Support the DW team in the daily load process.

What You'll Bring: 
• Computer Science, Data Analytics or Information Technology: Proficiency in computer science, data analytics or information technology 
• Programming/Coding/Scripting: Familiarity or experience with programming, coding, or scripting languages. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Python and the like. 
• Data Proficiency: You can understand and integrate data from multiple sources. Familiarity with ETL processing, datawarehousing, and large data management. 
• Attention to Detail: You are known for your attention to detail and work accuracy. 
• Clear Communication: You can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Collaborative Communication: Ability to interact, communicate, and collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals.

What You Need to Know: 
Details 
• Location: This is an office-based internship with location at the GC Manila Office in Mandaluyong City. Option for remote-work on some days may be considered and is subject to assessment and approval. 
• Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Data Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business intelligence, or related disciplines. 
• Stipend: this internship is unpaid, but all interns receive a monthly specified stipend.
• Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (24-40 hours/week) 
• Equipment: World Vision-issued laptop will be provided for the duration of the internship. 

Eligibility 
All candidates must meet the following requirements: 
• At least 18 years of age. 
• Eligible to work in the Philippines. 
• Able to commit to at least 4-8 hours per week for the entire internship period
•  Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years). 
•  Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith. 
•  A Memorandum of Agreement between World Vision and your school is signed and approved.
