Kick-start your career at GameChanger! Serving youth sports communities, our app is used to score and live stream millions of games each year. Join us for a 2025 paid internship where you will grow your skills for the road that lies ahead. Our program starts on June 9th and will run for 10 weeks, concluding on August 15th.
The Position:
The Analytics Hub team delivers easy-to-use, extensible models that unlock faster and bigger picture insights for all. As an intern on this team, you will work with the Data Engineering and Embedded Analytics teams and gain an understanding of GameChanger’s data.
What You'll Do:
Learn how to use a modern data stack, including Snowflake, dbt, GitHub, airflow, Snowplow, Looker, Hex, and Kubit.
Complete a summer-long research project that helps us better understand trends in GameChanger’s key metrics.
Create lasting infrastructure improvements to our data warehouse by setting up monitoring dashboards and identifying opportunities to improve pipeline efficiency.
Pair with analytics hub teammates to support other teams’ data needs across the company.
Contribute to a data-driven culture by advocating for data quality enhancements both in and outside of the team.
Work with great people, an awesome product, and have lots of fun together along the way!
Who You Are:
You have experience manipulating data using a coding language like SQL, Python, R, Stata, SAS, or MATLAB.
You are comfortable interpreting results from data you’ve analyzed and presenting them to a non-technical audience.
You troubleshoot technical challenges by reaching out to your peers and professors, using trusted online resources, and trying a variety of approaches when faced with an unfamiliar problem.
You have a basic understanding of version control, ideally in GitHub.
You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or MBA, or looking to make a career change.
What To Expect:
10 weeks of experience working on an app that is used by millions of people.
$30 per hour pay for your contributions.
A trip to NYC for orientation week at GameChanger HQ.
MacBooks provided for the duration of the internship by GC.
Mentorship from other GC teammates to guide you through the experience.
Ability to work remotely throughout the US so you can enjoy your summer from wherever you choose*.
Build industry connections with intern peers and GC teammates.

QUALIFICATIONS:
What We’re Looking For In You:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Interest and ability to learn new programming languages & tools.
Organized, curious, and proactive team player who is results-oriented.
Great communicator and enthusiastic about using technology to enhance people’s lives.
Big plus if you have experience developing with parts of our tech stack: iOS, Android, node.js, and more!
