Job Description

You will be assisting the Data & AI team in their day-to-day operations, business-as-usual (BAU) processes and other data-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust and scalable Enterprise Data Platform for batch/real-time data processing 

• Develop data processing pipelines for ingestion, modelling, analysis, mining and reporting with SQL, Spark, Python, etc 

• Solve technical challenges posted to the Enterprise Data Platform in huge volume, velocity, and business complexity

• Provide Data Analysts and Data Science teams with Data Engineering support for analytical and machine learning use cases

• Collaborate with CapitaLand’s infrastructure to implement data governance and security best practices

• Support data management projects and perform additional data-related tasks as required 

Requirements

• Preferred studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronical Engineering, or related disciplines

• Strong programming experience in SQL, Python, or Java 

• Possess a strong willingness to learn on the job continuously, embracing new and varied technologies that are centred around all aspects of data management  

• Good to have knowledge on Microsoft stack of analytics products (SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, Integration Services, Power BI)  

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive and Spark will be advantageous  

• Good collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams and partner with business stakeholders
